Community Giving At Berkot's
As a family-owned grocer, Berkot’s Super Foods is proud to support the neighborhoods we serve. Our giving focuses on local families, schools, youth programs, food access, and community organizations near our stores in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin.
What We Support
- Local nonprofits and charitable organizations
- Schools, PTOs, and youth sports or development programs
- Food pantries and hunger-relief efforts
- Churches and faith-based groups with a broader community benefit
- Veteran, senior, and first responder organizations
- Community events and fundraisers that benefit a local group or charitable cause
What We Don't Support
- Political campaigns, parties, or lobbying efforts
- Individual or personal requests, including medical bills, tuition, travel, crowdfunding, or GoFundMe campaigns
- Private or personal celebrations (weddings, birthdays, reunions, showers)
- For-profit businesses or events that mainly promote a private company
- Individual athletes or teams not affiliated with a recognized organization
- Organizations that discriminate, or events that conflict with our company values
Before You Apply
- Your organization should be within about 10 miles of a Berkot’s store or directly serve residents in one of our communities.
- Submit your request at least 30 days before your event or needed date. Late or incomplete requests will not be reviewed.
- Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. Decisions are based on community impact, location, timing, and available budget.
- We’ll respond within 3 weeks. If you haven’t heard from us by then, please assume we’re unable to support your request this time.
